The Necessity Of Evil: What does Peter state with respect to the two hands of God: ‘I will kill, and, I will make alive; I will strike, and I will heal. For, in truth, He kills and makes alive. He kills through the left hand, that is, through the evil one, who has been so composed as to rejoice in afflicting the impious. And he saves and benefits through the right band, that is, through the good one, who has been made to rejoice in the good deeds and salvation of the righteous.” And this is why the Left Hand can be portrayed as the Left Hand of Correction that returns to each person the fruit of their own ways. Thus, God is the One Source of all things — i.e., the question is posed in scripture: “Does evil befall a city, unless the LORD has done it?” (Amos 3:6 RSV). And what does the scriptures state is the source of darkness and evil: “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things” (Isa 45:7 KJV). Yet, man who rejects knowledge does not have the capacity to even begin to understand the reality of the world in which he presently finds himself — often as a guest and servant of the Left Hand. And this is true to the degree that even servants are ordained by the power of the left hand to test and immerse mankind in the experiences of life that will eventually bring about their soul’s perfection. Thus, Peter further portrays the proverbial Simon Magus as a power of the left hand who has been raised up in order to bring trial and judgment to the lost prodigal sons, in order to insure the necessary growth and mental/spiritual development — i.e., Peter states of Simon Magus: “He is a power of the left hand of God, and has authority to do harm to those who know not God, so that he has been able to involve you in diseases; but by these very diseases, which have been permitted to come upon you by the good providence of God, you, seeking and finding him who is able to cure, have been compelled to submit to the will of God on the occasion of the cure of the body, and to think of believing, in order that in this way you may have your souls as well as your bodies in a healthy state.” Further, the diseases that can be inflicted by the prince of the left hand, is as much mental and spiritual, as it is physical — i.e., those who lie “…under the sway of Satan, who will not allow what lies under the unclean spirits to understand the truth and power of God”, can in no manner understand higher spiritual knowledge or reality.
Once understood, there is no such thing as evil — and what man portrays as evil is that force of correction which serves an important reality in the development and evolution of mankind as the lost prodigal sons. In the writings of Clement, the 2nd century Bishop of Alexandria, it is explained that: “But among the lies, the false prophets also told some true things. And in reality they prophesied ‘in an ecstasy,’ as the servants of the apostate”. Using the early Christian writing known as the Shepherd of Hermas (see Shepherd Of Hermas ), Clement then explains: “And the Shepherd, the angel of repentance, says to Hermas, of the false prophet: ‘For he speaks some truths. For the devil fills him with his own spirit, if perchance he may be able to cast down any one from what is right.’ All things, therefore, are dispensed from heaven for good, ‘that by the Church may be made known the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal foreknowledge, which He purposed in Christ.’ Nothing withstands God: nothing opposes Him: seeing He is Lord and omnipotent. Further, the counsels and activities of those who have rebelled, being partial, proceed from a bad disposition, as bodily diseases from a bad constitution, but are guided by universal Providence to a salutary issue, even though the cause be productive of disease. It is accordingly the greatest achievement of divine Providence, not to allow the evil, which has sprung from voluntary apostasy, to remain useless, and for no good, and not to become in all respects injurious. For it is the work of the divine wisdom, and excellence, and power, not alone to do good (for this is, so to speak, the nature of God, as it is of fire to warm and of light to illumine), but especially to ensure that what happens through the evils hatched by any, may come to a good and useful issue, and to use to advantage those things which appear to be evils, as also the testimony which accrues from temptation”.
Thus, Simon Magus has been raised up (by God) as a power of the left hand in order to bring trials and judgment to the lost prodigal sons. Why? In order to insure the necessary growth and mental/spiritual development — i.e., this is confirmed where Peter states of Simon Magus: “He is a power of the left hand of God, and has authority to do harm to those who know not God, so that he has been able to involve you in diseases”. The term diseases from a spiritual sense, can indicate any and all the afflictions that mankind endures while he is in this world. And within these words of Peter are contained a profound truth that all believers today must begin to come to terms with. The Power of God is so all-encompassing, that even the apostate teachers and prophets still serve the Lord. So, if we pose the question: Is the present Christian Church the Church of God? Yes — But not in the manner that most Christians would understand. Is it not forewarned and written that: “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness’” (Matt 7:22-23 NAS). Therefore, it is established that even among those who prophesy, cast out demons, and perform many great miracles in the name of the Lord, they are as Simon Magus, and have no part in the teachings of TheWay and the Kingdom.
In view of all the countless doomsday prophets who have in every generation predicted the End Times — the predictions of the Second Coming of a Messiah who they claim will inaugurate the Kingdom upon the earth — we must recognize that either the predictions are wrong, or that an intelligent seeker would question what is the nature of these seemingly End Times prophesies? Peter writes that through your own Godliness you can speed up the End Times/Second Coming — i.e., “what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming” (2 Peter 3:11-12 NIV). And you can speed up the End Times as the Kingdom comes within you, by travailing in TheWay, and transforming your body and mind into the Living Final Temple (see Final Temple).
When it is recognized that this world is exactly as God intended it to be — and it is in fact ordained and approved by God to be under the “…the power or right of governing and controlling; sovereign authority” of the Left Hand — to the degree that the Prince of the Right Hand is barred by the very Laws of God from interfering in any manner with those who dwell under the authority of the Left Hand — then Christians are directly confronted with the questions: (1) Who were the people that authored and wrote the scriptures? (2) What is the true objectives of the authors of the scriptures? Again, it is imperative to recognize that Paul portrays the literal written text of the scriptures as the “letter that killeth” (2 Cor 3:6) which was comprised of “Jewish fables” (Titus 1:14). Peter portrays the scriptures as the “Books with the power to deceive” (see Power To Deceive). Peter himself warning that those who fail to understand the nature and traditions of the mystical writings, will be led into a manifold of erroneous beliefs about God. Thus, with respect to the positions of Peter and Paul, to ignore the witness of those who actually knew the authors of the Gospels, and understood the higher purpose of the scriptures, has been one of the gravest mistakes of that segment of the Church which called itself Orthodox.
Once it is recognized that the authors of the scriptures were servants of what Peter portrays as the Prince of the Right Hand whose Kingdom is not of this world (“Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight… but now My kingdom is not from here'” John 18:36 NKJ) — that they existed in this world as true strangers and aliens who were the embodiment of the reality to be in the world and not of it — and their presence in this realm was in spite of the ruling sovereign authority which was portrayed by Jesus as belonging exclusively to the Citizen of the Far Country — then a number of ultra-important conclusions based upon these facts must be intelligently arrived at. (1) The disciples of Jesus neither started, nor ordained institutional Churches of this world that would exist under the dominion and sovereignty of the Prince of the Left Hand. (2) They did not compose scriptures that would be under the control of the god of this world for people to read from the perspective of a carnal mindset. The fact that the people of the Churches who call themselves Christians continue to ignore the words of Jesus (see GateOfEden.com ), and still look for the Kingdom to come upon the earth in a way visible to the eyes and perception of carnal man — demonstrates that they are totally blind to their own higher soul-reality — and fail to understand the Laws and the sovereign powers of the Princes of the Right and Left Hands. Moreover, their dogmatic abject ignorance demonstrates conclusively, that the congregation of believers know absolutely nothing about either the Gospels, or that which they call the Son of God/True Prophet/Logos.
A sincere seeker will inquire: Does it matter that the authors of the scriptures held entirely different beliefs and spiritual objectives than the Christian world does today? In fact, from a Christian perspective, the Gospels were written by those who were deemed heretics by the Church. Moreover, from a Church dogmatic perspective, the authors of the scriptures totally rejected what the modern believer would call the divinity of Jesus as God Incarnate. Before being corrupted by the forth century Church under the Roman Emperor Constantine, the Gospel accounts confirmed the early Ebionite Nazirene position that Jesus became the Messiah by fulfilling the Law — and in every manner, he was a man no different than all other men (see TheTenWords.com ). Which means that if the original authors composed their Gospels from the perspective of Jesus becoming the Messiah — in contradistinction to the Roman doctrine that he was God incarnate — then the manmade dogma of the Church has mentally castrated and rendered the body of believers spiritually sterile.
